  SCF Accepting Nominations for the Silver Crescent Award  

 

Silver Crescent Foundation is accepting nominations for the 2007 Silver Crescent Awards for Manufacturing Excellence. The deadline for nominations has been extended to March 5, 2007. Make your nomination form stand out with tips from past judges.

Don't miss the Lean Training and Best Practices Conference presented by the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance February 26 - 28, 2007, at the Radisson Hotel in Columbia. The conference offers training opportunities for companies seeking to get lean. Training will also be available for those who wish to serve as auditors for the Shingo Prize.

  Apply Now for Camp Success 2007  

 

South Carolina middle school students are encouraged to apply now for Camp Success 2007. Session one is July 15 - 21 at the University of South Carolina's Swearingen Engineering Center in Columbia. Session two is July 29 - August 4 at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College in Orangeburg. Application packets are available online. At Camp Success, students can expect the unexpected -- and take away inspiration for a lifetime.
